After a long day of play, Elsa was more than ready to go to sleep. The white she-wolf, though tired, was still quite hyper, and when Birch told her to go to her den to sleep she had an obvious bounce in her step.
It took quite a while for the young she-wolf to fall asleep, and the silent spirit watching her was starting to get annoyed. Once she started dreaming, Shimmer entered her dream less than pleased.
"Hey, listen up, chump."Elsa, who was having fun chasing snowflakes, stopped abruptly as she saw the unfamiliar wolf. They looked quite similar-- could she be a future version of Elsa?
"Oh, um, hey," the small canine woofed shyly.
"What do you want to tell me?"The older wolf sighed. It would be hella awkward to just drop the prophecy on her and leave. But that was what they agreed upon, had they not? And despite being kind of an
****, Shimmer respected rules.
"Time gone past will give life to the river and the forest, the hills and the mountains, the stones and the plains." the ex-alpha muttered spookily, then faded into the mist. There, that should get the pup thinking.
Elsa's paws trembled in fear. In fact, she was so scared that she woke up shaking. That was so weird! It was the middle of the night and she knew she'd get in trouble if she left the nursery, so she just sat in her nest, paying attention to every sound and animal that moved in the forest.
